We have various examinations in MPSC. In Some exam there is requirement of Computer knowledge. So in our Maharashtra we have course MS-CIT (Maharashtra State Certificate In Information Technology). MS-CIT Is the basic course of computer where we learn concepts of computers and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mail etc (Theory and Practical). Now I don’t know the perfect pattern of exam but will be same. So, you must have completed it in your 10th vacation. MS-CIT certificate is also required in Other Government examinations too. Like Talathi Bharti.
Now you know MS-CIT is important for exams and in fact it is important in our daily life too. if you are doing something in it like now I am writing this post in Microsoft Word then I will update it in our website.

First of all lots of people they don’t know what is full form of GR. the full form of GR in Government is General Resolution (ठराव).

After reading above gr regarding computer qualification examination one will know that it is compulsory for government jobs but if haven’t completed MS-CIT or CCC then also you can complete it after joining the job.
Please Note this : “ the newly recruited Officers / Employees should comply with the eligibility criteria of knowledge of Computer operation / application within two years from the date of appointment or else their services will get terminated ”

I think course on computer concepts (CCC) is recognized as central course where as MS-CIT is course of Maharashtra itself, so if you have MS-CIT for Maharashtra Jobs then OK or if you get center job then complete it after joining if there is requirement of CCC instead of MS-CIT.
What I read different about CCC is creating databases. We know that we have application in Microsoft office called “Microsoft Access” where you can create databases. We have lots of things in Windows like we can connect our database in Microsoft excel. You can set up ODBC. You can create databases in SQL Server and then you can connect it in Excel. If you love computer you will find lots of things in computer itself.
Sir mi MSRTC PUNE sathi select jhali pan appointment chya agodarach mala MSCIT cert magtahet aani te naslyamule mala reject kele gela. mi 2002 madhe MSBTE cha CCIT course kela aahe pan te ha grahya dharat nahi aahet. Plz advise.
Ha prashn mala aadhi pan vicharlela aahe , tar, tyana mscit prerequirements mahnun lagte….. Tyani itar certificate nahi sangitale pan CCC chalu shakel… Mla CCIT baddal nahi mahiti. And GR madhe mscit chya equivalent CCC aahe CCIT nahi tyamule tyani accept nasel kela.

Hello Sir/Everyone,
Myself Anand Gajbhiye,have been declared rejected for the post of “LIPIK- TANKLEKHAK (Jr.)” by MSRTC NAGPUR during document verification on dated 2nd may 2018, stating that, As per MSRTC Advertisement No. 02/2017, page No. 23, pare 04, The MSCIT/CCC Certificate should be prior to the date 03/02/2017. I have CCC Certificate of dated 08/03/2017.
So, What should I do now ? I heard that I can produce the cerficate within 2 years from the date of appointment, but I dont have the concerned GR (General Resolution).
If anyone have PDF file of the GR, kindly post it or suggest me one of a lawyer at Nagpur(Maharashtra) who advise me better.
The identical advertisement is also published by district court (Maharashtra) on 28/03/2018 for the post of “Junior clerk” where district court demanding MSCIT/CCC Certificate as per page no. 02, para 04(C), the same problem may further arise for the court recruitment also.

Your problem is that … you don,t have certification beforehand within date given by MSRTC…. for some posts government want pre-requirement and for some posts its posts requirements… …

so, you can take help from lawyer only… because they know everything about this..

Sir, same i am appearing for forest mains but now i come to know about this gr and i dont have mscit certificate but as per Gr in my 10th result information technology subject is mentioned..

Don’t worry !
MSCIT is not prerequisite for MPSC Forest mains exam. you can complete it within the two year of period after selection. so, don’t worry and best of luck.and regarding subject mentioned in the 10th .. i don’t know about this but if you have it subject in 11th and 12th then its eligible. and there is now subject in 9th and 10th standard called “ICT” and there is no any official inclusion in the equivalent to computer education.
